The computer hasn't let me log onto the internet for the last couple of days...very annoying!!!

However, today I'm back.

Eventhough it is warmer here in the winter than most of the US, it is still dry.  All of my skin is itchy and dry.  I think it may be time to begin with the pre shower oiling of the bod-ayervida style.  I totally think I spelled that wrong.  I think I need a nap.

Next Wednesday is my trim...I'm looking forward to it.  I'm really thinking I need long layers put in 'cause of my waviness.  As long as I can still bun it I think I'll be OK.

The cats have been a handful lately-Ziggy won't leave Sweetie alone and she does NOT want his attention.  PIA.

Moving on...I'm ordering my Shruti box-hopefully today.  This Sunday is another Yoga of the Voice training.  YAY!!

I've been so worried about my choices for my Secret Santa person that I haven't been able to send it out.  I just need to get over myself and mail it!  Argh!!

Still haven't seen GoF-perhaps tonight.  It is supposed to rain tonight.  Hope so!!

Tomorrow I get my hair trimmed and a facial.  I need a pick me up-this cold weather has me bummed out.

Only two more guitar classes at the MAC.  Tonight we have a special guest.  Sounds fun.

Finally saw GoF.  I liked it, think I need to see it again and I'm re-reading the book for more comparison.

The next film I want to see is Aeon Flux-I love the anime they showed on MTV.

Ahhh, the deed is done.  My hair looks soooo good.  She hardly took any length and my layers start below my ears, so I can still wear a bun  Grin and all those hairsticks!!!
My new hairdresser has super curly hair herself and she knows what she's doing.  I've never had anyone cut my hair like she did-she didn't just cut the sections straight across but a bit uneven and now my hair has so much movement.  Now I'll just have to wait for it to get longer...
When I mentioned that the top layer of my hair is quite straight, she said that's normal.  Here all this time I was thinking it was some weird thing about my hair-now I don't feel so weird (in the hair department anyway...).

Speaking of hairtoys, my SS is Greek_Lady and I so love my gift.  It is totally me, I'll post a pic as soon as I get one done.

Today was a total pick me up-my skin looks and feels so good after my facial.

Welcome back from your lapse of internet!

I hope we get to see your new cut soon!  That's very interesting about your top layer being straighter.

Thanks, Khrome Smiley!

Today in the mail my new guitar book of Christmas music came!!!  YAY!!!  'Santa Baby' is in it!!  It has 120 songs, says they're the best known but I don't recognize many of them.  I hope someday to play well enough to take my guitar and go to the hospital and sing for the sick folks.  I used to do it every year in high school and college, I think it really cheered them up and I love to sing Christmas songs.

Tomorrow I'm washing my hair for the first time after getting it cut...I hope it looks amazing w/my waves *fingers crossed*!

Gonna go practice my new songs!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Well, I'm a bit disappointed with my book-many of the songs seem to be in strange keys.  Perhaps that's why it was on sale...
I am only an intermediate player, so maybe I'll be able to play more once I start private lessons.

With the bulk reduced in my hair from the cut I can now twist the mini scrunchis around my piggy braids twice!

Tomorrow I've got a lunch w/ the other instructors from MFC.  I never see any of these people unless we have a staff meeting.  They said to bring a $10 wrapped gift-I'm hitting Pier 1 today and we're meeting at a Mexican restaurant.  I hope the food's good.  There are so many restaurants here and many are yucky!  This one's a chain though, not that that means anything in particular.

I'm behind on posting the new additions to my hairstick collection-I'm feeling a bit embarassed about the size of it.  Any who, I'm still growing it-I've got 2 pair of sugar stix, 2 spiral sticks and maybe 2 swing sticks coming.  Who do I talk to about an addiction to longlocks?

I've just made fresh coffee in the French press and hubby's on his way back from Dunkin' Donuts w/fresh breakfast.  He really likes it when I get up in the morning with him and hang out.  He is a morning person-I am not.  I have improved my morning attitude though, for his sake.  At least I can come here and check the boards before having to speak more than 5 words.  That is a good thing!

Your accountant, perhaps?   Wink  I was telling Mom about my new sticks and she said--get this--she said that she didn't think I could possibly need any more sticks!  Is that crazy or what?   Roll Eyes

As though need had anything to do with it.

Thanks, 13bodies!  No accountants here.

I'm still liking the change to my hair, I'm adjusting to using more pins again for my buns but that's OK!

Tonight's the conclusion of Survivor.  Hubby's really hooked on the show, I've been watching it 'cause he was but am now looking forward to how it all turns out.

Today was fun-I've changed things up a bit for the beginning of my class, warming up in a circle before the seated practice.

I'm distracted by "All of Me", its on while waiting for Survivor to start.  Such a funny movie.  I wasn't doing yoga when I first saw this film, so now I recognize some of the chanting the Swami is doing.  Funny!!

I know the feeling. I used to go out until 04:30 or 05:00 o'clock in the a.m. That's the time I am getting up with him now every day for the past 10, 11, 12 ?? years now. I think it's even longer than that, but who is counting  Grin

Last night was my last guitar class w/Andy.  I will really miss the group.  I'm really glad I did it, I learned a lot and it was fun.  Now I've gotta get a private instructor or else!  Or else I'll get distracted and loose my momentum.

I'm sick.  Sick enough to cancel my appointments today.  I'm bummed 'cause its chanting night and I missed the last one 'cause I felt nauseus.  Silvia is coming December 18 and I'm afraid I won't be up to singing by then.  Besides the coughing and sneezing, today my voice is comfortable at a whisper.

Bored with my hair.

Going to go drink some OJ and read and probably fall asleep.  Thank goodness I don't have to work again until Saturday.  Wonder if I'll make my Friday voice lesson?
