I'm glad you liked the Tangle Tamer... Mine is a lifesaver, seriously! I wasn't sure how it would do on curls, so that's nice to know! Congrats on the dinner going well, too, Curlygirl.

The tangle tamer has been so wonderful. Thankyou so much Kireala for your picture of the comb and your description. I found it easily and its the same teal color as yours. Sally's also had this Wild hair growth oil that i like.

Hair news, Every night i have putting aloe gel on the scalp/hair   and my hair seems to like that.  I would be the happiest person alive if my hair grew about 12 inches in 2 days.  Roll Eyes  Maybe i will wake up one day and my hair will be at goal length which is about 40 inches.

Dear Journal,

Today we had dinner at my inlaws house and thankgod it went smoothly. Grin  My sister in law has sickenly gorgeous hair almost touching her rear. I guess it will take me about 3 years to gain that length. Please god give me patience.    I asked her how she got her hair so long and she says she doesnt cut it.  Im so envious of her hair, Its so pretty.  I feel like i try so hard and she doesnt really try at all. I guess thats the trick....leave it alone.  Im really thinking about seeing a dermatologist.   I will hopefully look into it tomarrow. My scalp still feels wierd after 3 years ago a chemical burn on scalp.   I need more sprayology.   I heated some sesame  oil and put on hair.    My hair seems to like that. For the last week everytime i oil i heat it up.  Goodnight.

BB, Thanks for the birthday wishes for Julia!   We made a small party at home and it was really nice.  My husbands bday was july 25 and we also made him a small party.

Thankgod everything is going smoothly, well as smooth as this nightmare with jimmys luekemia can go. Tongue    Thankgod again that he is in remission. It is still tough to get him to take his meds twice a day. Even though i crush his pills and mix it in a little pudding because jimmy says they taste so bad. It breaks my heart that he is sad that he lost his hair. He doesnt want anyone to see him without his hat except for immediate family.  It is so hard for us to see him go through this.  It makes me so sad.  It takes this type of (ALL)  3 years to cure. So i guess i will be at goal hair length when jimmy's treatment is complete, hopefully all goes well.

Last Wednesday, Ryan slept over my sisters house. She took the liberty of cutting his hair by herself. First, she is not a hair stylist, 2nd she does not cut her kids hair so why practice on my 3 year old, 3rd i hated the haircut! I was so upset when i seen his bad hair cut.  I was trying to grow it out and had gotten losts of compliments on his golden brown golden long locks.   Argggggggggggggggggghhhh.  Lips Sealed

My hair has been behaving thankfully.  Yesterday night after a nice bath, and pajamas on i made myself two braids. I felt like pipi longstocking.  Tomarrow i have a playgroups and the other moms compliment me on my curly long locks. Most of the moms have short hair so i usually put it up in a clip when i catch some of them gawking. Tongue  Fridays i do  a mayonaise treatment my hair loves it. Its great for dry frizzy hair.

                                                              Goodnight,

Dear Journal,

Thankgod everything is going good.  Jimmy started kindergarten and ryan started pre-k.  Julia and i go to the gym (they have an awesome playroom) to relieve stress.  There is a personal trainer with the most gorgeous hair at the gym.  She is indian and he hair is so long, black and silky.  It is so motivating to work out and grow your hair!  She is also a nice person.  She was looking for a playgroup for her daughter, in my neighborhood they already do playgroups once a week. It is wonderful the toddlers play and the moms relax and chit chat.

Baby oil is my hair care product of the moment. I love growing my locks long.  I pray that i never have cancer and that jimmy's hair grows back quickly.  God help everyone with cancer.  Jimmys self esteem went down a little. Gotta go for the kiddies.

xoxo curlygirl

p.s. i hope all is well with the longlockers

Thanks Curlygirl64 Wink.

This journal has been missed. My internet has been down for a month. I hope all is well with the longlock world.   Thankgod everything here is going ok. In Jimmy news:It breaks my heart to see Jimmy not feeling well. God bless him.    I wish we can get through this and his body will respond good to the chemo.   God help everyone with cancer.

Hair news,  dryer because of cold windy weather.  I hope it doesnt get knotty like last year.    I have been mayonaissing it  almost everyday.  I was wearing a baseball cap the other day at playgroup and a mom thought i cut my hair. I havent even trimmed it. it was just up in a bun.  She is a hairstylist BTW.  I have been taking this supplement called Envy. It is good for weightloss, hair and nails.    My sis told me about it and she said it was on CNN. Dr. Sanjay Gupta  says it is good for skin, hair and nails. I havent really seen weightloss yet, but i notice my nails are stronger.   It has greentea and hoodia in it.  If it was on CNN, i trust CNN sometimes. Just kidding.   Im off to bed,  and i just watched a program on TV today and they said the PPD affects 1 in 5 woman.   Thankgod that is over with!!!  Its more common than we think.

                                                                      xoxo jackie

ATT. Please no one try Envy the beauty pill.  Thankgod im off of it. It causes muscles spasms and all sorts of bad things.   I had the worst backache of my life because of this. I hope no one tried it.

Thanks xoxo curlygirl
