Dear Hair Diary,

I've been keeping my hair in a bun lately.  I made a big sock roll and it looks great!  Got the dig camera yesterday!!!! Now I have to learn how to use it!  Plus we got to get the cables and stuff for it.  Hey, it was $50 CDN so I'm not complaining! Almost finished reading The Half-Blood Prince.  I know I'm going to cry, I'm such a suck!!  Lately the spiders in my place have gone mad!  Hubby and I are getting eatten in our sleep.  Bug spray doesn't work!!  I've tried to clean away all the webs but I think this makes them madder!!

Off to put on Calamine lotion  Undecided

Lisabelle!  Try mixing water and EO (lavender or peppermint are my recommendations but whatever you've got on hand), put it in a sprayer and spray your sheets.  Bugs HATE eos!  I've used this when travelling overseas when I didn't know the sleeping conditions-gives a nice scent to fall asleep to as well as kept me bite free.  Couldn't say the same for others... Ick, how big are those spiders? I hope they're not really huge. When my parents first bought the house, they had huge cane spiders that--including the legs--were the size of the palm of your hand. I hope the EO mix does the job.

On no these are little things (thank god)  I already sprayed the bed with Lavender EO and water.  I will spray again just before bed.

Yes, cane spiders are freaky. I don't see them in the house all that often, but I did have to kill one in the hallway last month. Mom's afraid of spiders so I have spider-killing duty. I think centipedes are worse. I can't stand them! Sometimes they crawl into the house and it's just eewww!

Dear Hair Diary,

Wore the bun scarf today and am still loving it.  Been praticing tying my obi and trying different do's.   Will do a deep treatment with heat cap on Tuesday.  Tomorrow I have to see Mum for her birthday, got her a bottle of "Pure Posion"  perfume and a  DVD of the movie "Everafter"  I love that movie BTW!  Mum goes to Sweden and then to England the first week of September. I hope she can get me some Hair Scoos while she's over there!

Bye for now!  Cheesy

Dear Hair Diary,

Yesterday was Mum's b-day and I managed to rack up!  My SIN gave me two hair wraps she had purchaed at the Ren Fest last year and Mum had finished my bun covers.  Today bunnies goes to the Vet.  Mum let me borrow her cat tote and I placed one of bunny's blankets in it.  Mum gave me a lecture about not spending too much money on bunny and said he wasn't worth it.  When I got home I cried Cry But hubby said don't listen to my Mum and I'm not. We'll got to get hubby off to work....

Bye for now! 8)

Ooo, I love bun covers....please take pictures if you get a chance! Smiley

Is it possible your mom meant it because your bunny is an older bunny and that he wouldn't have much longer to live anyway?  I don't know how long bunnies live, and I don't know your mom, but that's the feeling I get that she meant.

My advice is also not to listen to her.  It's your baby, you take care of him the way you feel in your heart is the right thing.

Good luck at the doctor today...sending you good wishes and blessings for Bunnicula.

((hugs))

No one looks forward to losing a dear pet, but the reality is their life-spans are shorter than our and we will see many of our pets die.  I'm sure your mother knows how much you care for your bunny and just wants you to be aware of this reality.  Spending more money than you can afford to keep a pet alive for just a few more weeks, may not be the most humane thing to do and you may need to make this difficult decision.

I hope that whatever the problem is with your bunny is not serious and you have many more years to enjoy each other.  But if that is not how things are to turn out, you have my sympathies and  understanding.  Good luck at the vets.
