Yesterday was a bright sunny cool day.  The pup,C and I sat outside tor a bit.  I wanted C to buy new outside furniture before the upstairs tenant put out the wicker furniture, kinda to deter the upstairs tenant from having her kid run around inside of our gated area.  She has a seperate entrance from us and we have the gated front and side of the house.  I don't want to be mean, but I don't want a screaming kid running under my windows or in front of my entrance.  A sticky situation because she's nice and made it a point of saying that we share the front and her kid runs back and forth.  I should have said something then but I was desperate to get out of that noisy dealth trap of a basement that C and I were in.  I'm really hoping this is not going to be a problem....................  The gated front area was one of the reasons why I wanted this place.
Anyway, started working on a tunisian belt.  Another project to add onto the list of projects in action! Roll Eyes
Mom is coming over for Easter dinner.  We'll have pasta with clam sauce, shrimps and crab meat.  Simple no fuss meal.
Better get going!

Things are busy for me here.  I got my tunisian bamboo crochet hooks in the mail today.   Cheesy  There are 8 in the set and I have a few projects in mind already. Grin  Also got some lacy unmentionables that I bid on through ebay Cool. Some hat crochet patterns, sweater patterns and a jacket/vest pattern.  Just pile some more on my plate!! Roll Eyes
Hubby also bought me a set of 16 brittany black walnut crochet hooks on ebay.  I'm so excited about them!!  Brittany doesn't make their black walnut hooks anymore so these are a collector's dream!  I spoke with the lady that had them and they should be on their way at the end of the week!  The first time she had them listed they were $400 for the set!  We agreed on $275 plus $10 for shipping.
I'm sure they will become one of my prized possessions!  They lady is glad they are going to a home where they'll be used and appreciated.
Have been dryer shopping and I'll go with the LG dryer to match the LG washer.  WE'll go see it at Best Buy when C is done with the car show.
I spoke with a guy today who will come by tomorrow( fingers crossed!) to see about getting handrails installed outside.
I also called yesterday and left a msg. for a rep. to call me back about Ampira.  This is a new medicine for MS patients that has shown gait and walking improvements.  God only knows that I could sure use it.
When I saw the doctor on Tues. she told me my Vitamin D was super low.  A 12! Shocked Usually it should be 30 and above.  So I'm taking 50,000 units of Vitamin D once a week for 8 weeks. Roll Eyes  This better fix the problem! Undecided
Any who, I'm off to finish a pair of fingerless scrunchy gloves. Cheesy

I've got low D too.  I hope it takes care of it for you.  A doctor on call told me that it takes at least 6 months to correct.  But you should trust what your doc says.  Could be individual.  What do I know.....I can't remember my D number.

I hope this Ampira is an option for you.

Thanks,Drear! Kiss  I didn't know about the 6 months though Sad  It's fustrating and annoying when things like this happen, especially when you take ultra good care of your body.  I'm starting to believe that no matter what you do to and for your body, it has a "mind" of its own and will do what it wants to!! My brother is in A.C. for his birthday, today, hope he wins big!!!!  Hey,speaking of birthdays,BB's got one today too!!!
So Happy Birthday totwo of my favorite peeps!!!
Got some summerprojects planned for crocheting. A hooded sweater and an Asymmetry Jacket.  Lots of yarn coming!
Been doing pretty good with some scratch off tickets yesterday.  Total won about $90. Cool  Half goes into the savings jar and the other helf goes back into tickets!! Grin
After doing a deep conditioning treatment 4 days ago, I did alittle trim(< 1/2 inch) I decided today I was going to try my Mud and Clay shampoo bar,ACV rinse and Suave coconut conditioner and Infusion23 Leave In Conditioner spray.
So two hours later after air drying my hair down,it's nice and curly and soft!!! Smiley  Think I'll stick with this shampoo bar for abit.......
Tunisian bamboo hooks came last week,so I've been playing with them.  Pulled out my Jensen Hairpin Lace Loom last night and have been practicing with that.  I'd like to get a book that will be coming out in July for Hairpain lace patterns.  I saw it on a Knitting Daily show yesterday. I might just pre-order it Undecided
The guy who does iron work is coming today to take measurements outside for the handrails that I so desperately need!!!!!!!!!!!  That'll set us back $400,but it's a necessary thing.
Off to make lunch.  I think I'll make salmon and veggies.  I've re-discovered Frank's Hot Sauce Shocked!!

Congrats on your lottey win.  You seem to have lot's of luck with those.  Just curious.  When you buy tickets, are you certain that it will be a winner?  I guess it's a weird question, but I'm wondering if the Law of Attraction has anything to do with your success?

Can't wait to see your new projects.  I think I'd love to commission you to make something for me one day (not sure what) ...if that's okay with you of course.

I'm flattered!  Of course I would look forward to making something for you!
Thanks,as for the lottery tickets, well, either I pick em or hubby picks em out.  It's random, nothing planned or any strategy in it.
If I can ever get my pics posted here, I have a few to get to.  Hubby's hair pic and some projects that are complete!  I have several planned already for over the summer.  If I keep adding on, I won't get anything done till next spring! Shocked Roll Eyes

Ooh, yeah.  I would love a blue or red knitted scarf or a knitted red beret for the fall.  When you have the time of course.

I honestly think that something subconsious is going on with your lottery winnings.  Maybe, just having a positive attitude.  I saw a special on people like you who win the lottery all the time.  My mother even used to win every year on her birthday.

I don't like to play the lottery because I always have a "we won't win"  attitude and I think that affecs the outcome.  However, I'm happy that you're so fortunate with it! Smiley

Ok,sure, as the summer is coming to an end, we can talk about  what you'd like.  Thanks!
I have the same feelings as you when it comes to Lotto,MegaMillions,Powerball and Take 5!!!  We usually don't even get one number on these.  That may be because my hubby does the quick pick instead of picking the numbers.  Hmmmmmm.....................
Last night he got in with some tickets for me.  I won $50 on Cashworld Doubler!  I have played this maybe 5 times in the past.  Don't care for it because I am always just shy of winning $2.  Not this time!

One thing is for sure though. The Price is Right scratch off ticket never, I mean never has a winning anything on it.  It's a waste of time and money.  I keep telling hubby don't buy it.  I even wrote a list of don't buy tickets and stuck it in his hand.......ah men!!

Now you've both got me pondering this scratch off thing.  I rarely buy tickets because I know I won't win.  Hubby, on the other hand, buys scratchers on a regular basis and is always winning something, even if only a free ticket.  Maybe I need to change my mindset!  I feel an experiment coming on.   Cool

Maybe when it rains,it pours!  Given the weather here, pardon the pun.
Hubby and I took the pup to the vet this morning for her annual check-up and any shots that she needed.
Well, she has some kind of tumor in her mouth up on her gumline.  The doctor won't know if it's malignant or not until a biopsy is done.  After today's visit, shots and blood taken,it ran us $576!  This afternoon one of the receptionists called back with the estimate of all the other things that would need to be done, biopsy, meds, hospitalization, etc. that would run between $1750-$2250! Shocked Shocked  Holy Moly!  That is not even the removal of the growth or tumor!!!!
I tell ya it's now more than ever I need total good luck with those scratch offs!!!!
So alot of information about this is weighing heavily on my mind.
It was all so surreal that the vet's office.  I could hear the doctor talking to me but I felt like I was out of my body looking down on the situation from the ceiling!!!
If anything is going to be done it's my decision.  She's my four legged hairy child!  I think I just need more information and alittle time to make this decision of moving forward.

I am so sorry about your pup.  Having lost 2 of my 3 cats in the last 8 mos., I can relate.  I hope everything turns out well and you win enough to pay for the surgery.  I will keep my fingers crossed and remember you all in my petitions to the goddess.
