The Staghorn Fern is gorgeous!  Martha Stewart did a show on them, last year, I think.

I got to go to the plant show at the Ex and brought home a air plant Smiley
...  it was only 3 bucks!  The man had a huge basket of all different types.  The base did not come with it.  I learned a neat thing about these plants...they should be soaked in water overnight if there all curled up as this means there dehydrated.  Mine was curled up so I did just that and its all happy now! Oh, Lisa... Cheesy

I have a stupid question for you.  I have one of those cocount fiber baskets and I don't know if I'm suppose to take the plant out of the pot and put it in there or do I keep it in the pot.  I believe, that I'm supposed to take it out but not sure.

I like your air plant.  I only first heard about those a few months ago.  I saw some online grown out of hollow branches.

Airplants are so cool, they can be grown in trees in your garden or like me in your bathroom! Smiley

Here's a tip:  Today while I was vaccuming I accidentally sucked up a English ivy vine in my hose! Cry  After saving the poor thing I took a clean mostache sissors and timmed the broken vine. This prevents browning of the vine.

Lets see what did I get to add to my Jungle Grin.  I got a clipping from a rubber tree, a hoya and a neat curly leaved ivy.  I cut down my basil lastnight and made a awesome pesto. Smiley  To my suprise the Cyclamen is doing wonderfuly!  Blooming and growing!  perhaps I can save the crom for next year once it dies down.  Smiley

Oh my lord someone slap me! Grin  I got an african violet the other day!  This is one plant I totaly suck at growing.  But, I could not resist the cute pink frilly flowers. Don's father has a whole collection of them at his house. I should ask him how he does it.  I saw a orchid at No Frills for 20 bucks, poor things pot was frozen!  Angry  I wanted to get it but I did not have the cash, next time!
