I consider the discovery of Public Radio Remix (PRX) to be one of the most important and certainly most enjoyable things that happened to me in 2011, I feel that strongly about it, and it has essentially become the soundtrack to my life. ThePRX sitedefines the station as:

Remix is a new format for public radio that presents curated, smart, creative spoken-word programs, amazing podcasts, cool ideas, fascinating interviews, found tape and intriguing sounds.

Listeners are surprised at how well excellent storytelling flows from one piece to the next. Most pieces are relatively short — 4 to 8 minutes – and then it is on to the next one."

TheCollectors Clubmembers have once again bent me to their will, and by means of popular vote have managed to save bothLongLocks DecoStixandGlitterStixfrom retirement! Both styles will move back to the "Current Hair Stick Styles" section of the menu as the change propagates throughout the site. The catalog pages of the remaining styles on the retirement list will no longer be updated and will disappear eventually!
In an effort to streamline everything LongLocks, I have made the decision to retire several LongLocks styles. They won't be going anywhere just yet, their pages just won't be updated with new designs as the ones that are currently available sell. The styles I plan to retire are now listed under “Retiring Hair Jewelry Designs” in the site menu. Unless I hear too much noise about any one style, I am currently planning to retireLongLocks RomanzaStix, DuetStix, IllusioniStix, GlitterStix, MarbeliStix, IndividualiStix, MonetStix, MystStix, SterlingStixandDecoStix. If you feel really strongly about any of these LongLocks styles now would be the time to say something or forever hold your peace! I plan to retire them all unless the potential disappearance of any particular style(s) makes lots of people too unhappy!
