There are only two special order versions of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a scrumptious encased violet purple and rose pink twisted cane lampwork bead, by glass artist Bill Grout, nestled into an ornate sterling silver filigree bead cap. A silver plated Swarovski Rose crystal rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A Swarovski Violet bicone crystal, topped with a Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are carved bone, hand finished in an abstract decoupage design of mauve, green, violet and plum purple, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
