Geeks Rock High Fashion!

I don’t know if I’m behind the times here and am doing both my geek and fashionista titles wrong by just discovering this, but do you know some of the biggest names in fashion are making themes for iGoogle??  Too kewl!  Everyone from Gucci to Vera Wang to Betsey Johnson seems to have a theme.  Free geeky high fashion… life is good!

How to get yours:

Assuming you already have your iGoogle set up (if you don’t, set yours up at igoogle.com)

1. Click “Change theme from (your current theme)” at the top of the page at the bottom of the header.

2. Choose “Artist” from the Get Themes links at the top of the page (if Artist doesn’t appear in your list try the More drop-down box at the end of the links).

3. Check out the designs presented.  If you don’t see one you like, click “Next.”  Note that there are all types of artists’ work listed (including glass artist extraordinaire Dale Chihuly… have you ever seen his pool?  I die!), not just fashion designers.  But around here it’s all about the couture, baby.

4. If you still don’t see one you like by the time you get to the end, click “More Options” at the top of the page.  And aren’t we picky?

5. When you settle on one that is speakin’ to you, click “Add it now.”  Voila!  Now you get to start your day with your customized news, coffee (don’t forget the Nutello), and designer fashion.  It just does not get better.

I’m rockin’ Oscar de la Renta‘s violets, oh yes I am!
