Rare Yellow Diamond: The Golden Eye

By BarbaraAnne:

In the movie, James Bond stops the Golden Eye satellite weapon from being dropped on London. In real life, the FBI seized The Golden Eye, a flawless 43-carat yellow diamond, from an undercover operation, which led to the conviction of money launderer Paul Monea. How did he get it? He’ll probably take that secret to his grave. Greed-psychosis, obsession, lawbreaking, exploitation, and evil commonly surround the world’s great diamonds. This one stuns you into silence. Look at how the yellow catches aqua and violet in the same facet. How much will someone pay? I will certainly be following this auction in September.
